Ninth Basque Tournament of Interton VC 4000

On Tuesday 31 March 2026, Eusko-Retro Association organized the 9th Basque Tournament of Interton VC 4000. We enjoyed a lot playing Interton like always. It was the last console we played. Before it we played ZX Spectrum, PC Engine, Master System and Commodore Amiga 500. Such a good retro afternoon. 8 players met up.

We played Hunting, Paddle and Tank Battle. Just 3 games but we passed a great time. After summer I will try to buy a new game(s) to include them in the next tournament; I will try, sure.

We started playing Hunting; a good game. A fun game where you have to shoot the birds that fly past you. Try to hit the ones that fly higher up to get more points. We play in pairs. Then we played Paddle in the Sports cartridge. Good and interesting game. In this game it is important to maintain concentration to hit the ball well and get it over the net. Here Egoitz won one match and Lander another one with the same difference in points. The last game was Tank Battle; one of the first tank video games. In this game you have to aim well and shoot the enemy tank. We played in pairs and without walls. Egoitz won both his games, and Lander also managed to win his.

In conclusion, it was a fun afternoon. Egoitz scored more points than the others, but Alvaro almost won the tournament. Everyone else did very well, for example, Lander, who is only 9 years old and played exceptionally well. Now the plan is to organize another Tele-fever tournament in August 2026.
